Dimensional mixed-media shadowbox

Fluid acrylic, paper clay, polymer clay, and found objects

Wine is a playful celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and the art of repurposing. Housed in a refinished wooden inbox discovered at a thrift store, this dimensional shadowbox combines a swirling turquoise, green, and lavender fluid-acrylic background with handcrafted sculptural elements.

The wine bottle was created from lightweight paper clay using a custom silicone mold made from an actual wine bottle, then painted and embellished with dimensional details, metallic accents, and decorative lettering. Clusters of grapes and textured vine leaves, individually sculpted from oven-bake polymer clay and painted by hand, complete the composition.

By combining fluid painting, sculpting, moldmaking, and furniture refinishing, Wine transforms discarded materials into a richly detailed, one-of-a-kind assemblage that celebrates both artistic experimentation and the pleasure of giving old objects new life.
