Music comes alive in Play That Funky Music, a vibrant abstract depicting a vinyl record spinning in an explosion of sound and color. The textured black grooves of the record contrast with energetic streaks of red, yellow, blue, orange, and white that burst across the canvas. Created using liquid acrylic paint applied directly from bottles, the composition features sweeping lines, playful loops, and scattered splashes that capture the rhythm and spontaneity of music in motion. Bold, lively, and unapologetically funky, this piece transforms the experience of listening to music into a visual celebration.
