Mixed media on canvas

LLBTR—Laissez les bons temps rouler—celebrates Louisiana’s famous invitation to “let the good times roll.” A fluid acrylic background in purple, green, gold, and turquoise sets the stage for dimensional, individually decorated letters filled with tiny curls, patterns, and embellishments. The words spill across the canvas with the same exuberance as the celebration they invoke, turning a familiar Louisiana phrase into a richly layered piece of mixed-media art.
