Acrylic on canvas, finished with art resin

Explosive coral, turquoise, white, and deep blue radiate outward from the center of Little Purple Men, where twisting pools of violet unexpectedly form strange, almost figurative shapes. What began as an abstract fluid composition revealed its own inhabitants as the paint moved and settled—tiny purple figures hiding in plain sight amid the sweeping color and intricate cells. Finished with art resin, the glossy surface intensifies the saturated palette and adds depth to the forms beneath.
