Yellow, orange, red, and green burst from a dark field of black, silver, and violet in Hibiscus in Space. Inspired by flowers in the garden—and the delightfully improbable idea of giant hibiscus blooms floating through outer space—the piece combines familiar organic forms with a surreal celestial setting. Bright floral color pushes against the darker background, creating an otherworldly garden somewhere far beyond Earth.
